Elavil is an anti-depressant and antipsychotic medicine used in the treatment of sertain mood or mental problems such as depression, bipolar and anxiety disorder and schizophrenia. Elavil is also prescribed to treat neuropathic pain, peripheral neuropathy, bulimia, bad sleep and warns migraine headache.
